Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd was able to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first five minutes. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd's win was a majority decision as well as the Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
