Her birthplace was Santa Monica, California on 26 November, 1986. She is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba the father of her and Valerie Barba. When she was six, her family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her high school education in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. She was a graduate of Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. She also played the violin at the age of four and was referred to by the name of Violin Lady. Her performances led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. Children from her community were taught to play violin through her. She also sang Free from 1976 in her audition to the sixth season of American Idol, at age 19. She was eliminated after the 16th rank. The singer has performed a variety of songs like 2009's "The The Christmas Carol" and 2010's Out for Blood. In addition, she's appeared on some programs on television, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba rose to stardom when she sang in America on the show's 6th season American Idol. Also, she began acting in television shows after she was exiled from the show when she reached the top 16. She's played in small parts in films, and was a guest on Fear Factor during the 2012 season. Daily Mail reported that on 21 November 2019 she received the equivalent of four years of imprisonment for conspiracy to sell fentanyl. In July 2018 the artist pleaded guilty of being in possession of 400 grams or more of fentanyl and intending to sell it.
