Shailene Woodley is a American actor, activist and writer. She rose to fame with her performance in the role of Alexandra King as a teen addict on The Descendants. She continued to impress with her performance after the acclaim she received on The Descendants. Shailene was able to get her name in the Hollywood world very early during her career, which in and of itself is quite an accomplishment. Starting her career by appearing in commercials and television series She went on to be a prominent character in Hollywood films. Because of her acting abilities, she has won many awards, including MTV Movie Awards, People's Choice Awards as well as Teen Choice Awards. Some other prestigious awards like the BAFTA Awards and Golden Globe Awards were also presented to her. Shailene was an actor for many years, but she's also an active environmentalist. With her mom she founded All it Takes as a not-for-profit in the year 2010. In 2010, the Entertainment Industry Environmental Leadership Award was presented to her in the year 2016 in the International Green Environmental Awards' 20th Anniversary, for creating the All it Takes non-profit organization.
