Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, businesswoman, inventor and model who hails from Australia. Having started her career at home in Australia, she made it to Hollywood and found immense successes. An alumna of the city of Perth George was initially interested in dance and creative roller skating. Her modeling career began when she was in her teens. She was awarded the title of Western Australia's teenager Model of the Year in the year 1992. The following year, she appeared on the screen in an episode from Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away. The big screen debut came on Dark City, a mystery thriller. Then she played a variety of parts in supporting roles on shows like Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first mainstream Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake.
